Victoria Event Centre - Consent Captain

Tanille is the first-ever Consent Captain hired at a night venue in Victoria, BC to cultivate safety, inclusion and education to fellow staff, community, and patrons. The Victoria Event Centre is launching this new position & programming May 2018.  Through this position the VEC is partnering with Karmik Victoria to offer harm reduction support at busier events. 

Victoria Sexual Assault Centre - Prevention Educator with Project Respect

Tanille has been a prevention educator with Victoria Sexual Assault Centre in their program Project Respect since April 2017. This program is focused on teaching the roots causes of sexualized & gender-based violence and cultivating healthy relationships through consent. 

Hop Studios -Artist Not in Residence July 2017- February 2018

Hop Studios teamed up with Artist & Educator Tanille Geib to inspire change in this world as part of Hop Studios new mission, “Helping Other People.” For 2017-2018, Geib will be serving as Hop’s Artist-Not-In-Residence, traveling to different cities and countries in the next year sharing her two programs, Healthy Humans and The Sexuality Salon, and her social-art projects, including 30 Nights of Sleepovers, and the Painted Cock Series.

Crush Collective - Community Outreach & Consent Captain

Tanille has been part of the Crush Collective in Victoria, BC since January 2017. She is dedicated to fostering connection between communities and creating safer spaces at events in Victoria. Come to the next Queer dance at the Victoria Event Centre!

Riot Grrrls Burlesque - Consent Captain

Tanille has been with the Riot Grrls Burlesque since May 2017 helping connect with audiences on nuanced topics involving consent. Come to our next show in October 2018! 

Reimagining Masculinities -Consent Presenter, Workshop Facilitator, & Organizer. 

Tanille had the honour to present and facilitate at the first ever Reimagining Masculinities Conference in Victoria, BC at University of Victoria on May 11, 2018. She looks forward to organizing the next conference in 2019 with her collugues.
